Old signs copper

Old signs from a former department store. Solid copper, with the inscriptions STILMÖBEL, MASSIVE EICHENMÖBEL und KUNSTGEWERBLICHE GESCHENKE.

Very rare find, of course original, as always with us. The old signs are in a good original condition, with the usual signs of age and wear and a very nice patina.

Material: copper sheet, with edges.

Ideal for a loft or a furniture exhibition or shop in loft style.

The dimensions: width 180 cm (5,8 feet), height 35 cm (13,8 inches), depft 3 cm (1,2 inches).

Weight: 5.3 kg/sign.

Old transom window

Old transom window, wrought iron, rococo. A masterpiece from the 18th century (around 1780-1800). With the typical Rococo motifs, in the middle with a rather unusual representation: there is a forest spirit (?) or Wurzelsepp (?) – the face also reminds me of the former so-called beard men. The large nose suggests a Wurzelsepp.

The forging work is excellent, at that time the masters were able to process iron almost plastically (and not only had the know-how, but also had the suitable material). In the “mirror” there are no classical connections, the branching parts are “braided” into each other. The parts are joined together with rivets.

Origin: Alpine region or Alpine foothills.

Condition: preserved condition. We have carefully cleaned and preserved the surface.

The width is 223 cm, the height is 75 cm (all at the edge, measured without the wall hooks).

Old christmas tree stand

Old big Christmas tree stand. The stand is shaped in the shape of a tree trunk, with root-shaped branching feet. The feet end in paws. Gründerzeit, late XIX. Century or turn of the century.

Massive piece, the biggest width is 93 cm, in the other direction 75 cm, the height is 27 cm. The weight is 31 kg. The aperture has a considerable diameter of 12.8 cm, Christmas trees up to 4 meters in height fit in easily.

Condition: preserved condition. The set screw is missing, the water tank has a long crack and is accordingly leaking. Despite missing screw, it can be used, we tested it a year ago and fixed the Christmas tree with wedges. The surface has been conserved, in some places remains of the previous color can be recognized (black, gray).

As a benchmark, we took some old Christmas tree stands, these have an aperture of ca. 5 cm.

Old iron folding shutter

Antique iron folding shutter from an old wineyard estate. Late XIX. century, handmade, riveted, partly wrought iron. Very massive and ponderous pieces, weight ca. 80 kg/piece. Very good condition. Everything original, no rust perforations. Hand cleaned and conserved (hard oil/wax), immediately usable. For a big loft. Also ideal as built-in cabinet, wall covering or room divider too. Height ca. 199 cm (6,5 feet), width ca. 70 cm (2,29 feet).

Canopy for our lamps

Our canopy for the industrial lamps: suitable also for lamps with some more weight. Made of welded steel. Plate 13 x 15 cm, box 4 x 5 x 15 cm. With strong eyelet for the hanging and separate cut-out with pg gland for the perfect and secure cable entry. The canopies are conserved with hard oil/wax, they are immediately usable.

Antique wrought iron door, 1820

Antique wrought iron door with nice rosette and working lock. Very good condition, from about 1820. Everything original, no rust perforations. Cleaned and conserved (hard oil/wax), immediately usable. Height ca. 184 cm (72,4 inches), width ca. 134 cm (57,8 inches).

Old factory sign weawing mill

Old factory sign weawing mill, from about 1900-1920. Original, very rare. Nice original condition, the sign has the traces of age and usage. In this old quality hard to find. Width 178 cm (5,8 feet), height 37,5 cm (14,8 inches).
